SpeedSmart tested the speed of the iPhone15 Pro, iPhone15 Pro Max, iPhone14 Pro, and iPhone14 Pro Max on the 5G networks of AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in the United States.
The iPhone 15 Pro had a much faster download speed than the iPhone 14 Pro for all three carriers. The upload speed also improved slightly.
Verizon had the fastest average speed.
According to SpeedSmart, compared to the iPhone 14 Pro series, the average 5G download speed of the iPhone 15 Pro series was as follows.
- Verizon: 24% faster on average, average speed 243Mbps
- T-Mobile: 22% faster on average, 301Mbps average speed
- AT&T: 14.6% faster on average, 204Mbps average speed
In other words, compared to the iPhone 14 Pro, Verizon has the fastest 5G download speed. Still, T-Mobile has the fastest average download speed.
SpeedSmart says users across all three carriers will experience average download speeds of over 200Mbps on any 5G network in the United States.
