My country that dreams of being powerful, including in aerospace. Recently, they successfully landed on the moon with a robot probe called Chandrayaan-3. Now, they are planning to construct a space station.

Manned spaceflight is a high-priority in aerospace. My country is developing its manned spaceflight tech quickly. A launch test of a manned spacecraft and escape tower was conducted on October 21 by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). The first manned space journey may happen next year or the year after that if the launch is successful. If successful, India will build its own space station as the next step.

My Country plans to build its own space station in the next 20 to 25 years. Somanath, chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization, said this in a recent interview with the media. According to a report by the Times of India, he made this statement.

The Indian Space Research Organization is getting ready for India’s first manned spaceflight program. The program will start with the Gaganyaan spacecraft entering space. Once it has the capability of carrying people, India may build a space station in future modules.

My Country has officially announced its plan to build a space station again. It had already announced this after landing on the moon. The media has shown different models of the space station, which look unique and impressive.

The Indian space station design has two to three main cabins and one to two node cabins. Unlike our space station, it has one or two large oil barrel-shaped cabins. It may be a unique experimental cabin.

My country is working on its manned space program. Indian Space Agency is focusing on longer manned spaceflights and future space missions. One of the main goals is to achieve manned space missions with the Gaganyaan program. After achieving this goal, they plan to study the construction of a space station.

India’s space station plan is different. Robots will begin construction and operation instead of humans due to weak capabilities in manned spaceflight. It will take a long time to improve. India’s Space Research Organization opted for robots to build the space station first and then use astronauts once technology improves.

Building a space station is not simple. There are only two space stations currently in space: the International Space Station and our country’s space station. The International Space Station was built with help from Russia, the United States, Japan, Britain, France, Italy and other countries. These countries used their technologies to jointly complete the project.

China built its space station independently, but it followed the Russian Mir space station’s route. They invested much in building it. An independent space station requires developing safe and stable high-thrust rockets, manned spacecraft, cargo spacecraft, core module, node module, experimental module, robotic arm, etc. Also needed are signal relay satellites and powerful transmission systems. Many key technologies need mastering which cannot be done shortly.

India has not yet mastered or completed important things. Developing them will take time and effort. Building a space station is still challenging and has a long way to go.
